RELATE in pictures

In 2022 alone, RELATE put together panels at the ECPR Standing Group on the European Union conference, at the ECPR General Conference and UACES Annual Conference. In 2023, we had a panel at ISA and will be once again at the UACES Annual Conference in Belfast! International Studies Association 2023 Annual Convention, Montréal, 15-18 March 2023

RELATE made a great showing at ISA 2023, with a fantastic panel on diplomatic practices and contributions from Rebecca Adler-Nissen and Kristin Anabel Eggeling (University of Copenhagen), August Danielson (Uppsala University) and Szilvia Nagy (Central European University).

UACES Annual Conference, ESPOL, Lille, 5-6 September 2022

RELATE put together a great panel for the Annual Conference of our sponsor organisation, the University Association for Contemporary European Studies, with contributions from Franziska Petri, Kalypso Nicolaidis, Federica Bicchi, and RELATE’s own Marianna Lovato and Heidi Maurer.

As part of the section The EU as a Global Actor, RELATE proposed a panel titled “When the sum is more than its parts? Alternative approaches for understanding the nature of the CFSP”. The panel was chaired by Heidi Maurer and co-chaired by Marianna Lovato, with presentations by Franziska Petri and Katja Biedenkopf (KU Leuven), Tomáš Weiss (Charles University), Marianna Lovato (University College Dublin) and Antonio Karlović (University of Zagreb).
